Oftentimes white people want to support the struggles of oppressed people, but do not know how to do so appropriately. This leads to opportunism and defeats the purpose of being an “ally”. This workshop discusses the time-tested methods developed by the African People’s Socialist Party through the creation of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement to provides solutions to these problems of opportunism and allow whites to work in solidarity with African and Indigenous struggles.
